Nepal: Opposition restricts choice to hold two-stage surveys

Kathmandu: The Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) has communicated its worries and complaints over the government`s choice to hold neighborhood surveys in two stages.

"Spending will be declared on fourteenth of Jestha (29th May, 2017). The spending will be reported 15 days after the primary stage and it will take two weeks for the second so they can run battles highlighting the budgetary elements and afterward go for the decisions. Their goal is brimming with scheme, fixed, against the political morals so this thing is not satisfactory," previous leader and CPN-UML executive KP Sharma Oli said in the parliamentary party meeting.

The legislature then again is planning to table another overhauled Amendment Bill in the Parliament today.
